Robot vacuum cleaners are doing better and better at cleaning the house, but if you are used to using one in your daily life, you will already understand that they are not perfect: there are some that get stuck, others tend to leave dirt in certain places and, of course, they can vacuum moderately, but in general they are still a step below. Well, this Roborock Soros 20 Flow Complete puts everything on the table to end that pending problem once and for all. We have tried it and this is our experience.

Roborock Sorrows 20 Flow Complete A high-end robot vacuum cleaner and it shows In details: It has a battery for a while, losing it is almost an impossible mission, it takes great care in cleaning, its app is very complete. However, where it really stands out for me is how it sees and removes dry stains thanks to its AI technology, hot water with detergent and its large roller. In this sense, it seems to be a great option for technical people with a large and/or complex room.
Of course, this is not a robot vacuum cleaner for everyone: its application can be confusing for people who are not familiar with technology (for example, I think of my mother) and despite being a model that easily exceeds a thousand euros, it is not the most complete with pet hair. And perhaps it also has great drawbacks: for an ambitious robot vacuum cleaner, it’s not as ambitious in terms of overall experience (based on RRP) as other more affordable candidates.

Our experience with the Roborock Saros 20 Flow is complete

A design that wins but doesn’t convince. With an elegant and sophisticated base where it stores dirty water, clean water, detergent and dirt tanks and a robot with a fairly standard design, you have to look closely to see what’s so special about it. Advantages: the retractable txapela is useful so that it can go under the furniture to clean, the scrubbing roller goes from side to side and there are two side brushes, one on each side. Of course, I missed that the central roller was longer or doubled for vacuuming, and the sides came out to better reach the corners. Yes, one of them can swing from side to side, but it’s not as useful as those little arms for reaching corners.
I dare you to lose. Not only do I clean the house when I vacuum for a long time, but there are also days when I’m a bit of a mess to clean my new home. The good: This robot vacuum cleaner, which uses a camera, a laser viewer and recognition algorithms to move, has never been lost and, as seen in the app, has moved all over my house with one obvious exception: the places where it doesn’t fit. Or where dogs like to lie down, because it doesn’t bother them. The plate that separates the kitchen from the living room (just one centimeter higher in the central area) was not a problem because it could actually go much higher due to its wheel structure.

An optimal scrubbing. I have a small apartment, two big dogs and I’m a bit clumsy. Conclusion: My house has stains and hair, a lot of hair. All these days I have used it daily (several times a day) on all settings and it has great power in vacuuming. Thus, keeping it on medium mode swallows up the usual cloves of nasty garlic that you drop while cooking. He also left the fine floor immaculate. What if the carpet is thick? Well, it probably climbs, but to avoid getting it wet with the scrubbing roller, it goes up 1.5 cm and comes with a protector to prevent rubbing. In short: you don’t risk getting it wet.
In general, hair and other fine dirt are also absorbed well because suction power is not a problem: corners or places where you have to move the broom are difficult to get into. That’s where dirt ends up accumulating and that’s where you miss those extended arms (once you try them, there’s no going back) to lengthen the side brushes and have scrubbing rollers. Scrubbing is what the Robrock Soros 20 Flow Complete excels at: as soon as it “sees” a stain, it steps in to remove it. What if it’s a very dry coffee one? Well, it’s important if it doesn’t go away, although it’s an option that can be enabled in the app.
Great battery. The technical sheet doesn’t do justice to the experience because in one sentence: it has a battery for a while. It consumed 20% of the battery in my 55 square meter apartment with maximum power draw. Typically for vacuuming and scrubbing, 30%. Come on, if you have a multi-storey house, it won’t be small and it remembers where it is and what it has already cleaned, so if it stops halfway, it will restart when it has enough load.
Minimal maintenance. I’m going to finish real quick here: I’ve been testing this for about 15 days and all I’ve done is fill the water tank and empty the dirty water tank about once a week and it’s qualified to do that with two dogs in the house. The process, by the way, is simple and clean: drain and pour / put under the faucet. I was surprised to find that the side brush shape and the central roller are split into two that rotate in opposite directions, making it easier to swallow hair and prevent it from being balled up.

Review of Roborock Saros 20 Flow Complete, Xataka

My feeling when finishing the review of this robot vacuum cleaner is that it left me a little half way. Let me explain: the middle class has moved on, its little brother Roborock QV 35A is an example, and it’s hard to find an argument for one to spend more than a thousand euros. First, a disclaimer: the Roborock Saros 20 Flow Complete is a robot vacuum cleaner that hovers around at extraordinary heights – outstanding at everything.
It is true that this model It excels in scrubbingActually it’s one of the best I’ve tried, but with such an ambitious high-end model it needs to be picked and detailed and in this case, I think that the suction still has some room for improvement for two reasons: the extension of the side brush is more effective than moving the dirt from one side to the other and the central roller should be bigger or two. And if you already have a simplified version of the app, with fewer options, less text, and clearer messages for non-technical people, even better.
Do I recommend it?
If you meet some of these premises, go ahead: have a big house with some unevenness, are a technical person and, above all, you want a robot vacuum cleaner that, in addition to vacuuming, scrubs a lot and well, the Roborock Saros 20 Flow Complete is a winning horse. Of course, as long as there is a budget, it will not be a problem.
